About this activity

Experience the Fire of Anatolia, or Anadolu Ateşi, a Turkish dance group that features some 120 dancers. Having performed in more than 85 countries, from the USA to China, join the more than 20 million people who have seen them live.

Every year from April to November, the 2 legendary dance shows “Evolution” and “Troy” are held at the stunning Ancient Aspendos Theater. The outdoor amphitheater is the largest stage in the world and boasts a seating capacity of 4,700 people.

From this glorious setting, you will see one of the fastest dances in the world, performed at 241 steps per minute, and learn more about the history of Turkey and the Anatolian region through the dramatic medium of dance.

Itinerary

  • Pick up from hotels in Side area. Drive to Aspendos Arena by an air-conditioned bus. Arrival will be at 8:30 pm to the show area.
  • After parking the bus in park area, you will be informed about meeting point and get a ticket for entrance.
  • You will give this ticket to security at express control. After you passed security, you can take a seat in the area. There is no seat number, everybody can choose their seats separately.
  • The Fire of Anatolia Dance Show starts at 9pm and it takes about 2 hours. During this time you watch all Turkish folklore dance shows by an expert team. There is a break for ten minutes at the middle of the program. You can buy some food or drinks near arena. Drop off will be to hotels until midnight.
